Vendor Board was created first and foremost as a free advertising and connection hub for the businesses that serve the real estate community and the professionals looking for them. But as a small-business project itself, Vendor Board is also a place to share what we learn along the way.
This site was built from the ground up with an idea, a lot of persistence, accessible tools, and modern AI—including Gemini and ChatGPT. You do not need a giant budget to begin creating something useful and professional. A clear vision, creativity, and a willingness to learn as you go can take you a surprisingly long way.

A free website can remain free for as long as it continues meeting your needs. Your web address may end with the builder’s name instead of .com or .org, but it still gives customers a real place to learn about your business.

Domain prices vary by name and extension. Many common domains begin around $5 to $20 for the first year, while premium names can cost much more. Search the registrar’s own website for discount codes or first-year specials before checking out, and always read the renewal price. The second year is often higher.
